About Us

Tim and Geva Innes are your hosts during your stay at Dunstan Downs. Tim is the 3rd generation farming this land. We have down sized our accommodation operation now and only have the backpackers and Tim's Wagon.  Charlie,  (son) and his wife Tania have ventured into new business - Dredgenz - selling all manner of gold extracting equipment. We have also down sized our farming operation and only run a few hundred breeding half bred ewes.

As a young man Tim spent his spare time hunting deer and other wild game in the nearby mountains, he went on to be involved in the helicopter venison industry - shooting from choppers and later the wild capture of deer.

We both enjoy the great out doors, the high country and farming merino  & half bred sheep. Merinos are farmed mainly for their fine fleeces but they are also good to eat.

We both still play an active part in farming Dunstan Downs, both have our own working dogs.. We now live in the A-Frame which was built for us when we were first married.

We spent 30 years in the Homestead and have recently swapped houses with Charlie and Tania, now back where we started.

Dunstan Downs has so much to offer the traveller who is willing to explore and enjoy the great out doors.
